Bugger. That's what I get for being away for the weekend.

Question: Why is it that every time I'm a human special, I always end up getting lynched fairly early?

Answer: my human special game is identical to my wolf game, only without the care and attention to make myself non-suspicious.

Ho hum. Also, good on-the-fly GMing by Josh. I approve.

Wow, I was convinced that Lu was a wolf.

It's all part of my masterplan to make my gamestyle completely unreadable.

Sadly it's still at the "Lu is always a wolf" stage.

Just FYI, the board clock appears to be 15 minutes fast after the downtime this morning. I posted this at 12:53, not 01.09.

I don't always think that, it was the no-killing wolves plus your outing of Kidz 'for the good of the team' that seemed like a wolf strategy.

I didn't really see any reason NOT to out Kidz at that point, and it did have the side benefit that I thought we might get a bit more mileage out of the Seer. In hindsight I should've just said "The seering result was human" but for some reason it didn't occur to me that that was all the information that the seer needed to put two and two together and for them to start high-fiving in the HA.

I was also more than a little curious to see if they would glomp the obvious target of Kidz, which they didn't.

But the seer-ee would have no reason to trust the seer, if you did this.

That's true, opens it up to wolf manipulation. Which is always fun.

And the Seer has no reason to trust you either. You could easily be a wolf lying. (Although if you aren't the next person Seered they need their head looking at.)

I do like that about this Seer power though, it's either risky or underpowered.

It'd be an INCREDIBLY risky play with little to no gain. What happens when someone says "Last night's seering was a wolf" and the person you pretended you were the seer to goes "Oh man, who was it?"

You either shop a fellow wolf, or send them on a wild goose chase that's going to lead to you being dead at the benefit of a single kill. I really can't see you being able to turn around such a risky strategy with lots of ways you can be revealed as lying to get more than one kill out of it before you cop it.
