I really wish TWG still happened. I miss it.

I am reliving the good times. Remember when Jim was a wolf vigilante and shot the GA, then tried to argue his way out of it? I think I spent the entire day chucking. Good times.

One of my favourite moments was the symbols game, when I was on the train to visit my mum, and I had a moment of realisation that Optimist's comment about drumming was a subtle hint that she was one of the other two masons. Unfortunately she still got killed and I ended up getting Baron, the other one, lynched because he accidentally told me his symbol was a drum too.

Also I was thinking about that parasite game the other day when I thought I was being really smart but TSP knew I had been turned the whole time.

I remember the camping meet when Masked told us all we were fucking idiots for thinking the Celestial link might be correct. :P

I'd be up for another game.

Wasn't I a wolf that game though? The only time I remember talking about TWG at a meet I was.

Edit: Ah no, I wasn't. I seem to remember thinking that it was too obvious a pattern, that Josh would've made it so there were several potential patterns and we were just going for the first one we saw.

Oh, was that the care bear game?

The symbol games were brilliant fun, I really enjoyed those.

I can't remember which game it was, but there was one where I was the last wolf, and it came down to the last day with me, Feet and Jim. I accidentally revealed to Jim that I was a wolf on MSN, and then Feet had to work out which one of us was talking rubbish. That was a great game IIRC.

Getting into a final three as the wolf, assuming all are active, is always the best TWG can ever get.

I think that's why I soured to the early game so much, it was just dull in comparison.

There was a point at which I ended up in that situation two or three times in a very short space of time, often due to killing off at least one of my fellow wolves, which I think basically got me my rep as a good wolf.

The problem is I just wouldn't have enough time to play properly now, and you really need to get involved in those first couple of days when the posts come thick and fast to get into it later on.

Although I genuinely had no problem with dying in the first 3 days (it heightened the excitement of any time I actually got through to the mid-game, let alone the late game), I feel I've missed out on some of the best excitement.

I have always enjoyed GMing these though. There is a great pleasure in the organising and the writing.

If we could get enough players from other sources I'd consider running one, but tbh I don't think that there are enough interested parties on IT, Sekrit and Tales combined to run a full game any more.

Clearly, without his forum, he is powerless.

It's like Samson and his hair.

(Also, I'm reluctant to go around all of the fora scouting for players because, you know, effort.)

I would probably play TWG, but I remember it being a massive hassle if you're in a time zone 7 hours ahead of everyone else.
